Note intros are in the french language. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>The original master source when the dvds are produced are from have small black borders around each frame.</div>This is mostly present in Season 1 episodes 1 to 16 and are much smaller in the other episodes. The episodes with the black bars mentioned above are removed by cropping using this ffmpeg command: "crop=702:572:10:2". This results in a cropped resolution of 702x572. All other episodes are not cropped.<br /><br /><div>The AI program used to upscale is Real-ESRGAN (https://github.com/xinntao/Real-ESRGAN) and the model used is realesr-animevideov3 with a 2x scale. The output frames are then encoded to the AV1 video format using SVT-AV1-v1.2.0 (https://gitlab.com/AOMediaCodec/SVT-AV1) with these parameters "--input-depth 10 --preset 4 --keyint 250 --crf 36".
